The policy can cover a wide variety of installed electrical & mechanical plant or machinery. It provides cover for breakdown, pressure explosion and collapse and sudden and unforeseen damage (SUD). We include operator error in our definition of breakdown and also give cover for damage to own surrounding property automatically for explosion and collapse. We can extend cover on an optional basis to include business interruption following an insured loss.

Our cover is intended for all commercial users of plant and machinery including property owners. Our insureds will likely be property owners (required to insure building services machinery such as lifts and boilers), manufacturers, printers and production line operators.
