PHILADELPHIA – September 14, 2004 – ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of The ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Frank Mike-Mayer, Senior Vice President, to lead the ACE USA Construction Group. Based in New York City , Mr. Mike-Mayer will have overall responsibility for The ACE USA Construction underwriting practice, which is staffed by a team of experienced construction professionals dedicated to addressing the unique insurance needs of builders and contractors. Mr. Mike-Mayer will report to William Curcio, President of ACE Risk Management.
ACE Risk Management offers comprehensive risk management programs and services, which are uniquely designed and customized to assist companies in any industry deal with the significant costs of financing and managing risk.

With more than 25 years risk management and underwriting experience in the insurance arena with particular emphasis on serving the construction segment, Mr. Mike-Mayer joins ACE USA from Zurich NA, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Field Operations, Construction. He previously held a variety of senior leadership positions in commercial and construction underwriting with Reliance National and National Union. Mr. Mike-Mayer earned his bachelor of arts degree in physics from Hunter College and received a master’s degree in business administration in statistics/actuarial science from New York University ’s Stern School of Business. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation.
