ACE INA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACE Limited (NYSE: ACL), has named Craig Nyman vice president and treasurer. A seasoned professional with 23 years experience in financial management, Nyman is responsible for the development of treasury operations that support ACE INA, ACE USA and ACE International. In addition, he assists the business units with their strategic goals and oversees cash management and bank relations, which includes short-term financing, capital management, overnight investments and foreign exchange.
"Craig's wealth of financial management experience and business acumen are a good match for the diverse needs of our organization," said Robert Jefferson, chief financial officer of ACE INA. "As our organization expands globally, we will rely on the skills and knowledge of top-notch finance people to move our organization in the right direction. Craig will be a strong contributor toward those efforts."
Nyman joins ACE INA from Orion Capital Corporation in Farmington, Connecticut, where he served in various senior financial management positions over the past 16 years, most recently as vice president and treasurer. During his tenure at Orion, he managed the treasury function of this nationwide specialty property/casualty insurance company. Prior to that, he was with CIGNA's Group Insurance operations in Bloomfield, Connecticut from 1981 to 1983.
In 1977, Nyman began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Hartford, Connecticut offices, serving as auditor for various clients in the financial services industry.
