Our Environmental Report outlines many of the measures we are taking to address environmental concerns.  For example:

• We are exploring innovative ways to engage with our policyholders and other constituencies in managing climate change risk.
• ACE is an industry leader in developing insurance products and risk management services that facilitate market-based solutions to current and pending environmental and climate-related issues.
• Through modeling, pricing mechanisms, and hedging our portfolio of catastrophe risk, ACE mitigates its exposure to climate change and therefore increases the amount of protection we can make available to our clients.
• The company is reducing its environmental impact by controlling greenhouse gas emissions from its offices and business travel and by involving employees around the world in energy saving and recycling programs.
• The environment is a focal area for ACE’s philanthropy, with recent ACE Charitable Foundation grants supporting efforts to improve sustainable agriculture in Peru, stabilize and diversify crops in Indonesia and preserve sensitive lands in the U.S.
