 ACE has teamed up with the City of Hope Cancer Center to sponsor Partners in Hope, a campaign to raise money and awareness for cancer initiatives. The relationship began in 2003, when ACE raised over US $279,000. In the most recent campaign, nearly 500 ACE employees in the United States raised more than US $29,000 for cancer research at City of Hope, one of the country’s leading cancer centers. The ACE INA Foundation matched all employee contributions, increasing the total donation to more than US $58,000. ACE also has designated June as breast cancer awareness month.
In addition, ACE joined professional golfer Val Skinner and other leading companies in supporting the LIFE Event, a golf tournament benefiting the breast cancer initiatives of the Val Skinner Foundation, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
