Financial Lines
Our D&O team has many years experience offering this specialist insurance to all sizes of companies from the small and medium sized commercial risk to multinational corporations. Widespread media coverage of claims against board directors has heightened the awareness of this type of insurance, and increased legislation continues to catch the unwary. In addition to offering D&O insurance ACE also provides a complete protection package by offering Employment Practices liability and Pension Trustees liability insurance.
Our Crime department, based in London, offers commercial crime insurance for companies of all sizes; cover for financial institutions, including banks, stockbrokers, fund managers and building societies; and computer crime insurance for IT-dependent companies.

Technical Lines
We specialise in contractors all risks, engineering all risks, advanced loss of profits, machinery breakdown, business interruption and electronic equipment insurance. Our clients are a diverse group of contractors, manufacturers, property developers, public utilities, independent power producers, financiers and lenders. Our portfolio includes risks in heavy industries worldwide such as power generation, cement, pulp and paper, iron and steel, in addition to our book of indigenous European contractors and building projects. We have developed a “cradle to grave” product that enables us to provide cover from initial construction through to project completion without any gaps.
Claims
Our global claims network gives customers local access to adjusters, legal counsel and other professionals required to manage and pay claims quickly and fairly, no matter where they occur. We have highly qualified and experienced loss personnel to oversee large complex claims, such as those resulting from major accidents, fires and natural disasters.
